#AfricanVibes 👸🇿🇲🇿🇦🇹🇿🇿🇼 – ThinkkFashion

Yesssssssssss guys!! So this weekend we attended a Nigerian traditional wedding, now if you know Nigerians then you know that they like to go all out with their traditional clothes. Bright colours, big  tied head scarfs and alittle of gold jewellery lol i really do love attending Nigerian events. So this time when we got invited to the traditional wedding i started thinking of outfits for me and my friend, outfits that would have an african vibe but also look modern. When i went to zambia this summer i had one of my friend design me a dress so that’s the dress i wore to the traditional wedding, i then got one of african long skirts and dressed it up with a dark red off the shoulder crop-top and dressed my girl Chiedza 😁 she really did look beautiful .. Even if i say so myself 😊

Lets see some pictures!

Belt from eBay for £2! This is my favourite belt if you don’t know .. But I’m sure you’ve already noticed haha

Now i love colour but this is my first pink outfit 🙈 i know crazy right! But i love it .. I wasn’t too sure about it at first but the dress really looked pretty.

The dress was a great length as i was wearing mid heels underth so it wasn’t dragging on the ground. I wanted something fitted, dramatic yet simple and understated and i think my designer did that beautifully😁

Because the dress had some sliver/black lines, a nice little sliver/goldish clutch bag would look great! P.s my shoes were matching aswell lol ( dark red mid heels) i just forgot to take a picture of them 😉

Look #2

I love creating outfits in my mind and trying them out on my friends or drawing images of  outfits and trying to recreate them in person 😄 (i need more friends, i know). So when my girl Cheidza asked me to help her find/put together an african outfit for her to wear at the wedding i was sooo excited!! Like yes please 😁

So i went back to my closet and picked up a long African full skirt and we matched that with a dark red off the shoulder crop top from misguided £18  and a gold chunky braclet from misguided £5 but you can find similar ones on eBay for a cheaper price.

You tell me.. Didn’t she just kill it! 😍 yesssssssss girl!!

The colours came out so beautifully on her skin tone, she really looked beautiful 🙌

We changed her shoes to black mid heels from primark ( £12) because i didn’t like the random pink shoes if you noticed them lol

Look #3

My girlfriend Ife had her outfit specially made in Nigeria for this traditional wedding as she was one of the brides maids for her older sister. They all had matching coloured outfits..

Ive never seen Ife look so grown and beautiful, she was glowingggggg

Of course my eyes were looking at them beautiful sparkling shoes 😍 Ife isn’t into heels so 10mins after this picture was taken she took them off lol

The 👰 bride herself!

That’s Bukky and her father (Ife’s older sister) she looked out of this world! It was such a great evening watching her and her husband celebrate Love and i wish the best in their marriage 💗

Father, mother and the bride😍 .. Cant wait for my own 😉 lol don’t worry guys i have a long way until then.

Anyways guys i hope you enjoyed this little blog and I’m hoping to do another one on African outfit ideas so be on a look out for that! 😊 let me leave you with some more pictures and videos.. Enjoy!
