NEW YEAR, NEW SKIN ROUTINE! – QUIRKY INDEED

Written by 260Blog

Happy new year to all of you. You’re probably thinking, “Girl we stopped using that line as a conversation starter ages ago, were have you been?” Well, guys as long as I haven’t said it yet, I can get away with saying it this late, don’t worry I was not left in 2016 because I have major FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).

Well, as much as I do not make new year resolutions, I have goals and one of them happens to be clear skin. If you have acne prone skin like I do, the idea of clear skin would be a dream come true. Corny much lol! Today I will be letting you guys in on my new skin routine so let us get right into it :

EXFOLIATING :

One way to instantly make your skin smooth is to exfoliate, as it rids your skin of dead cells. This turmeric mask is one of my favourite ways to get this done, I try to apply it at least once a week. Click HERE for a detailed step by step tutorial on how to make this mask.

CLEANSING :

After watching a lot of YouTube reviews on African black soap, all thanks to my sister, we both decided to try it out. Honestly it’s one of the best decisions I have made this year. After using it for only two weeks I can already see the results yaaay !

I use it interchangeably with the Seba Med cleansing foam and I must say the two are getting along pretty well.

TONING:

Toning is meant to remove any remaining bits of dirt or oil left behind from the cleanser, It also evens one’s skin tone. I use the ponds toner which has been one of the few long standing products in my life .

MOISTURIZER:

This step is pretty much self explanatory, nobody wants to have dry skin. I use the Seba Med Night cream and I am working on adding their day cream to my little collection.

I will give you a review on these products and my routine in a month’s time, fingers crossed they work. Drop a comment below and let me know what products you are currently using, I would love to hear about them and maybe even try them.

REMEMBER:

BEAUTIFUL SKIN REQUIRES COMMITMENT, NOT A MIRACLE !

Until next time

Ciao xox
