About a month ago(stops to do the shmoney), Maricko nations a brand owned by designer Maricko Marume launched their clothing line THE DAILY FANTASIES.Like any human who loves to play dress up,I jumped at the opportunity to style some of their pieces.
I got to style the J, a sweater dress that to me feels like what could have been if winter and fall had a baby that was a dress. She would be what doctors would prescribe to all their sunshine loving patients to help them transition to winter.
She is a classic minimalist kind of dress who may have more than one alter ego and boy does she have a few tricks up her sleeve.
She can be your accomplice for your afternoon adventures, especially if you want to look laid back yet fashionable. A belt will allow you to show off some curves but of course not too much as she has more of a swing dress persona.
Leopard print boots? Yes please, and if it gets extra chilly throw over a denim jacket, keeping the look relaxed and you are good to go.
Then there is her complete switch up to looking classy, with her collar lowered turning her into a timeless off shoulder dress.
We get to see her swing into full effect, paired with a pair of red lace up heels there is really no stopping her now. She is probably on her way to wine and dine.
On some days she abandons being a dress all together, tuck her into a pair of shorts/skirt and she is officially a shirt.
Remember when I said she has some tricks up her sleeves, I meant it .You can fold her sleeves to create the ultimate short sleeved shirt or just let them loose for the world to see it’s your choice really.
A pair of leopard print knee high socks will definitely make her look sassy to compliment the J’s evident Sassiness. What better way to complete this look than with a pair of black boots to catwalk through the streets with to claim her royal sassy throne.
What do you guys think of these looks, what other ways you would style this dress let me in the comment section. If you would like to take this little number for a spin purchase your very own J HERE.
